The Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy Board of Directors Stewardship for the land, donated in 1999 by Lake Erie Land (LEL) Company, is the distinct honor of the Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy Board. LEL's dedication to land preservation and restoration made it possible to create a non-profit organization comprised of Northwest Indiana's leading environmental groups.
The goal of the Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy Board of Directors is to identify, maintain, and enhance the remnant biodiversity that resides within the corridor. The Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy board of directors is dedicated to serving the public's needs for open space and environmental preservation. The preserve is open to the public 365 days a year and is available for special events, educational programs and relaxing family outings. The Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy Board of Directors continues to reach out to those who are committed to the health of our natural environment.
